JARROLD PROPERTY

Jarrold owns and manages the properties from which it operates. They have developed the historic St James Mill and part of its main site at Whitefriars to provide high quality office accommodation for leading local businesses and other organisations.                                  

To date five new high-quality office buildings and a health and fitness centre have been developed, with residential development of 220 new homes as well as additional commercial and retail space, now underway.

The company was also involved in the development of Miller’s Wharf - a development of attractive riverside houses and flats on Fishergate in Norwich and Blackfriar’s Gate in the Magdalen street area of Norwich.

DEPARTMENT STORE/ RETAIL

Jarrold has been a major retailer in Norwich since 1823, having originally started in Woodbridge in 1770. The well-known and much loved department store occupies a large prime site on Exchange Street and London Street and also occupies nearby properties with Jarrold Office Stationery, The Granary – Home of Contemporary Living in Bedford Street and Pilch Sport. Jarrold also has further branches in The Forum, Wymondham and Cromer.

The company also has a comprehensive and growing online retail offer.           

JARROLD TRAINING

Jarrold Training was established 25 years ago and provides IT and Management training to many businesses based in Norfolk and Suffolk from its training bases in Norwich and Bury St Edmunds. Led by Susie Jarrold, the company has an excellent team of trainers and coaches, all passionate about their field of expertise and the results that training can deliver.

ST JAMES FACILITY MANAGEMENT

St James Facility Management was set up during 2003 to provide a facilities management service for St James Mill and St James Court. The company offers these services across the Norwich area specialising in cleaning, security services and health and safety consultancy.

JOHN JARROLD TRUST

The John Jarrold Trust was set up in 1965 by the then Chairman John Jarrold. It was established to promote, support and advance charities across the arts, welfare and community, education, medical and health, churches and historic buildings, the environment and developing countries.

To date the Trust has distributed over £4million mostly within Norwich and Norfolk, funded from dividends from the Jarrold group.
